WHO AM I? What does it mean to be human? Does my anxiety or depression define who I am? What does my sexuality have to do with my identity?

IMAGE. This is a conversation on what it means to be made in the image of God and its impact on personhood, mental health and sexuality. It is an all-day event with Christ-centered teaching, Q&A on relevant topics, breakout discussions and corporate worship.

SPEAKERS. We have an incredible line-up of pastors and teachers from all over the Lower Mainland who are passionate about Jesus and the current issues surrounding identity.

Chris Price

The Way Vancouver

Chris has been the lead pastor at Calvary Baptist for ten years. He has recently resigned to pursue church planting in Vancouver. With a Masters in Christian Studies and a BA in Biblical studies, Chris’ love for teaching the Bible, and bringing it to life in context of our everyday lives, can be found in his Sunday messages and extensive writing. He is an avid reader and author of “Radical Hope: Resurrection Hope in a Hurting World." He is also a contributor to the UK based Youth Alpha video teaching series and sometimes co-hosts a weekly podcast called Hidden City, which explores the hidden ideas that influence our lives today. Chris loves to spend time with his wife Diandra and two children.

Mardi Dolfo-Smith

North Shore Alliance 

A graduate of Regent College in Old Testament Studies, Mardi Dolfo-Smith has been pastoring since 1998. She currently serves at North Shore Alliance Church as Discipleship Pastor. For the last 27 years, Mardi has volunteered with Journey Canada, a discipleship ministry that focuses on adults struggling in identity, relationships and sexuality. Mardi also served as Chair of the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Canada’s (C &MA) Commission on Sexuality and is serving on the national board of the C & MA. Mardi is married to Anton and has 4 adult children.

Min-Soo Kang

Journey Canada

Min-Soo joined the Journey Canada staff in September of 2016. Before moving to Vancouver, Min-Soo received his MDiv at Tyndale Seminary, directed a young adults ministry and served as a youth pastor in Toronto. He has a desire to walk alongside young people as they seek to live out Biblical truths with passion and integrity. In his spare time, Min-Soo enjoys exploring cities through their coffee and food offerings.

This conference is targeted towards young adults between the ages of 18-30.
